Going without chocolate for lent is arguably one of the hardest things to do. But as Easter arrives later this month, the opportunity for a chocolate fest arises, and what better way to indulge without consuming a single calorie than by smothering yourself in it.
The spa at the Jacobean style Savill Court Hotel in Surrey is offering this delicious chocolate wrap, to help you relax and release endorphins to stimulate the senses, release tension and produce a general sense of wellbeing.
The 75 minute treatment starts with an invigorating body scrub using the husks of cocoa beans, to refresh the skin before a relaxing massage using aromatherapy oils to help you unwind. The warm, melted chocolate is then smothered all over before the wrap is applied. Unfortunately there is a no tasting rule, but the smell alone will make you feel as though you have had your treat for the day.
While you are relaxing in your wrap and letting the chocolate do its work, the therapists are still working giving you a blissful head massage. After a brief shower, this wonderful treatment ends with the skin being treated with a gorgeous seawater milk moisturiser, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth.
The luxurious spa at Savill Court is a new addition to this stunning hotel, set in 22 acres of secluded parkland, next to Windsor Great Park near Egham. Added as part of a £12million refurbishment programme of the hotel. The spa offers a variety of Decleor treatments, a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room for total pampering and relaxation.
The chocolate wrap treatment last for 75 minutes and is £65. During March the Savill Court hotel is offering the treatment plus dinner and bed and breakfast for two from £125 per person per night. (Based on two sharing for a weekend break).
