Coutts Women tell their stories
Coutts Women tell their stories

Last month saw the launch of the first Coutts podcasts, where five entrepreneur clients share their personal stories of the highs and lows of starting and building successful businesses.

Available to download , these stories are as fascinating as they are inspirational and include two female entrepreneurs who have built very different businesses and tell of their personal challenges of balancing family and business life.

Known as the 'queen of self-tan', Judy Naaké is the ultimate saleswoman, and has earned her living pounding the streets, first as a cigarette-selling glamour-girl, and then building up her own business selling self-tanning products. Hard graft and a dedication to customer service meant Judy built a business counting Posh Spice and Cat Deeley among her many celebrity clients, before experiencing a life changing illness that prompted her to sell and reassess her priorities.

Helena Hudson is a classic second-time round entrepreneur. After a successful city career and a break for her children, Helena and her husband decamped to Brighton for a better life. Helena runs The Real Eating Company, a chain of three deli-cafés on the South Coast, with more in the pipeline.

The five podcasts are available in a 10 minute and 30 minute format and also include the stories of former Sun editor, Kelvin McKenzie, Air Miles founder, Sir Keith Mills and business leadership guru, René Carayol.
