Gill Switalski, founder of Legalpulse

Gill Switalski is currently a director of legal services for F&C Asset Management plc. Gill started out life in fraud and murder but moved to the murkier world of corporate law! Gill was Sony's first female general manager and first female director of corporate services for Camelot Plc. Eight years ago Gill founded Legalpulse an online legal service designed to bring cost effective legal and business advice to all. Legalpulse is one of the top three legal websites in the UK. The principles of Legalpulse are:

  • no affiliation to a law firm so that you can go to who you want to but we will help if you get in a pickle

Gill is an experienced commercial lawyer with both UK and international exposure. Her experience covers mergers, acquisitions, competition law, intellectual property law, regulatory affairs, audit, quality assurance and complex employment law. Gill was voted one of the Hot 100 lawyers in UK for 2004. Also her legal team has been awarded Top 5 Banking Finance Team of the Year. Gill is firm believer in access to law for every individual. She is a keen advocate of women's issues and is currently heavily involved in the Daily Mail Women's Forum which promotes involvement of women in business across all arenas. Gill is a mentor to a number of individuals both in the charitable sector and the commercial world.
