Concierge

Through our experience of delivering high quality services to high net worth individuals over the last decade, we have learnt that women find the concierge service particularly valuable, primarily as a way to save time and create more hours in the day.

Women, more often than not, tend to have a network of trusted people around them, helping them to juggle their many responsibilities.  Concierge sits within this network which may also include a nanny, cleaner, dependable friends and even a PA.  Trust is by far and away the most important element in this network and the concierge service must deliver reliable quality and strong relationships to ensure trust.

Women can be extremely clear on what they want.  They call the concierge service with a very specific brief.  It is less about the need for inspiration and more about helping them to make things happen to their clear brief within the required timeframe.  In this way, women are the most sophisticated users of concierge, through their style of delegating with clarity and accuracy and staying in control throughout the process.  Last minute hitches would ensure they never try the service again.

Whatever their professional role, from our experience, women still retain responsibility for the smooth-running of the home, entertaining friends at home, travel and holiday plans and gift purchasing.  They rely hugely on concierge in these areas.  Here is an example of a woman who uses concierge for different reasons:

The Managing Partner of a law firm relocated to Cheshire a year ago but still works in London three days per week and is therefore running two properties. This used to frustrate her.  That was until she called our concierge service for help.

·Before redecorating her London apartment, Sophie needed to throw out an old sofa and fridge.We managed the delivery of the new replacements so that Sophie didn’t have to waste a day waiting in.

·When it came to installing a power shower in the en-suite bathroom in Cheshire and getting the carpets cleaned, Our home improvement experts arranged for this to happen on a weekend when Sophie was away for minimum disruption.

·Through our network of tried-and-tested and vetted suppliers, one company was lined up to landscape the gardener and then a reliable local garden to maintain it.

·Through working with Sophie and these things and getting to know her, we proactively suggested that she employ a part-time housekeeper to ensure the smooth running of the home, including cooking, shopping and cleaning and short-listed three suitable candidates for Sophie to interview.
